Overview

Various sensors are installed on the MAIPump to visualize the amount of mortar filling each hole. The ability to control the amount of filling for each hole makes it possible to confirm the reliable installation of rock bolts.

System Features

¶ Automatic filling volume measurement

Based on various sensor data, the system determines the operation status of my pump. The system automatically measures the amount of mortar fill for each rock bolt hole. In addition to conventional work, the system can measure the fill volume for each hole, excluding preparation and washing work, simply by pressing the “start/end measurement” button.

¶ High-precision mortar measurement

Measurement of mortar, which contains not only liquids and solids but also air, has been extremely difficult. By employing an external electrode type electromagnetic flowmeter, the influence of noise is suppressed, and by preparing a unique calculation method, measurement of the mortar discharged from the MAIPump is made possible. Even hard properties with a flow value of about 130 mm can be measured.

Forms

¶ Automatic creation of forms

Management forms are automatically generated from the acquired data. Since the amount of filling for each hole can be seen at a glance, it is useful for early detection of holes with a low amount of filling. When utilized as a standard for performing pull-out tests, the system enables management methods that were not available in the past, leading to reliable rock bolt construction management. *Report data can be output externally to the cloud using the network in the tunnel pit.

¶ Easy-to-manage forms

Reports are automatically saved in the notebook PC based on the timing of the start/end button of the installation. Mortar fill volume and water consumption are displayed in graph form in the order of installation, allowing intuitive comparison of the relative amounts of fill in each hole.
