There are 2 types of retort
pouch. One is flat type and another is self-standing type named "DOY
PACK". Fujimori's retort pouch can be designed as the optimum form
of packaging for retort foods, taking into consideration the types
of foods involved and the retort pasteurizing conditions.
- They can be manufactured to provide the optimum heat resistant
properties matching the retort pasteurizing conditions.
- They feature outstanding pin-hole resistant properties.
- They have excellent heat sealing properties, and the seals are
very strong.
- They are hygienic and safe.
DOY PACK
In addition to the inherent features of retort pouches, retort DOY
PACK also have flexibility plus a self-standing capability.
- Since they are self-standing like bottles and provide good display
effects, they do not require external cartons.
- They can be folded and so storage of empty containers takes
up very little space.
- Compared to canned foods, pasteurization time is very short,
and this in turn greatly reduces deterioration of the foods.
